I was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba.  I had always wanted to be a veterinarian.  I did my undergrad at the University of Manitoba, where I completed my Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in the Animal Systems program in 2008.  I graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2012.  I spent my first few years after graduation in rural practice in St. Claude, Manitoba and in 2015 I moved to the city to focus more on small animal medicine.  I’m particularly interested in nutrition.

When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends as well as my dog.  Some of the other things I enjoy are reading, baking and going to and singing along to musicals!
